Unit11 Planting Trees(Lesson 42)教案(2)

1、电脑播放雨水冲刷土壤,造成水土流失,冲垮山坡、河堤,淹没田地、村庄;狂风吹起沙尘、沙丘,埋没田庄的影片。在播放影片的同时,用录音机播放英语说明(解释),并用幻灯机显示有关生词、短语:raindropssoildirectlystop fromblow (runwash )away towardsfarmlandthanks to等,让学生看着相对应的影片学习新生词、短语。随后幻灯机出示问题:What should be done for these?让学生分组讨论,激烈的讨论中形成了答案:Plant trees.接着出示另一个问题:Why trees should be planted?学生各持己见发表自己的看法,最后归纳:1)Forest help to keep water from running away .2)The trees keep rain drops from hitting the soil directly .3)Dead leaves on the ground keep the water from running away.总结: 1)So drought doesn’t often happen .2)Flood are prevented.

2、电脑播放“绿色长城”区域刮风、下雨的影片,使学生目睹由于森林阻挡了狂风的势头,风力无法把沙尘、沙丘吹起和雨水击打在树木和地上的树叶、小草上,水缓缓而流的情景。同时幻灯机出示问题:Why should the Great Green Wall be built in China?让学生分组讨论,归纳各组意见形成答案:Because forests can :1) keep rain drops from hitting the soil directly .2)stop the wind from blowing the earth away.3)stop the sand from moving towards the rich farmland.等。总结:So many more Great Green Walls must be built not only in China .They must be built all over the world.

3、学生听课文录音后,阅读课文;幻灯机出示以下表格,让学生完成下列表格。

4、让学生观看绿色长城的影片和幻灯机出示的表格,复述the Great Green Wall.

(四)、启迪作业。

让学生查阅有关资料,根据以下表格以Sanbei Shelter-forest 为题作文。

五、教师自我评价:这节课课堂气氛有张有弛,学生兴趣盎然,情绪高涨,在课堂教学活动中充分发挥了自己的积极性、主动性和创造性,使学生成为了课堂的主人,体现了以学生为主体,以教师为主导的思想。

六、学生学习反馈:学生的积极性、主动性十分高涨,79%的学生能口头复述课文,68%的学生能查阅有关资料,写好作文Sanbei Shelter-forest
